We went over the last meeting for the folks who weren't there and discussed the following:
-Focusing the technology solely on the home and not including the car
-Focusing on Heat, Light, Water Consumption
-Using existing cellphones to coordinate the mobile monitoring of the system so that one doesn't have to carry around another "gadget"
-Incorporating Weather Monitoring into the system, adjusting the houses Air Conditioning and Lawn Maintenance
-Possibly a smaller, safer device other than a cellphone or bluetooth for any children in the household
-We discussed splitting into two groups: Presentation/Business Plan and Design/Tech plan. As far as design goes, everyone is in agreement to follow the iCare/apple style set-up. Parker said that he can help with the website, which the group felt should probably fall under the Presentation side of the group.
